Feta Pasta Italian

Low-fat Italian
This pasta with tomato sauce and feta recipe is ideal as a quick meal for one. Add salmon or tuna for an instant omega-3 fix.
Pasta with tomato sauce and feta (serves 1)
Your ingredients are:
50g pasta twists or similar
1/2 jar or carton tomato and vegetable pasta sauce
4 pitted olives quartered (optional)
50g feta cheese, cut into chunks
Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions. In another saucepan heat the pasta sauce. Add the olives and the pasta and heat through. Stir in the feta. Serve with a large green salad.

For a change you can leave out the feta and add a small tin of salmon or tuna – great for getting your Omega 3s for a healthy heart and brain.

Make it even cheaper by using a large tin of tomatoes and a teaspoon of dried mixed herbs, instead of the pasta sauce.
